My Journey
During the Covid-19  pandemic when we all lived with the changes, challenges and  restrictions imposed upon us, I often encountered situations in my personal and professional life, in which I was supporting people through difficult and sensitive life events such as hearing challenging news, unexpected death,  or providing comfort or guidance during end of life situations. 
For many,  the contact with people and professionals who would usually assist in these circumstances was restricted, and I found that I was able to step in and support with the planning arrangements for funeral or memorial ceremonies in order to  honour those who had passed.
I was  called upon to participate in the ceremonies and to utilise my skills as a speaker, performer and writer of eulogies, ensuring each tribute reflected the unique life and legacy of the person being mourned.   These experiences deeply resonated with my commitment to support and uplift others and I was motivated  to complete professional training to ensure I could offer the very best to those I serve as an Independent Celebrant.
